DOE Cycling Proficiency Scheme

Well done to all the pupils from Primary Six and Seven who recently completed the DOE Cycling Proficiency Scheme.

The pupils undertook many weeks of practical training mastering a range of manoeuvres. The pupils gained excellent experience carrying out over five hours of on-road training where they encountered real life situations of traffic and cycling on the road.

We hope the children will continue to use these important skills when they are cycling on our roads. Sincere thanks are extended to Mr King and Mrs McConville who trained the children and prepared them for the test.
