A Special Garden for Mrs McConville
As part of our retirement gift to Mrs McConville, staff have been busy planning, preparing, and creating a beautiful garden space – a peaceful outdoor oasis designed for calm and reflection.
This special area is a tribute to Mrs McConville’s kind and nurturing spirit. A heartfelt thank you goes to Mrs Lavery, whose vision and dedication brought the garden to life. Her extensive knowledge of plants ensured a thoughtful blend of herbs and greenery, creating a space that is both soothing and full of life.
We are also deeply grateful to the Greenaway family for their generous donation of a stunning wooden bench, which provides the perfect finishing touch to the garden. Given as a leaving gift to mark their daughter Lily’s time at the school, their kindness will ensure that both staff and pupils can enjoy the space — whether for quiet reading, outdoor lessons, or simply a peaceful moment of reflection.
Mrs McConville has always been known for her warmth, care, and support of others. It is our hope that this garden will reflect those same values, offering a safe and welcoming space for all who visit.
