In the quiet month of October the Church presents us with St Therese as the patroness of the missions. It reminds us that she never left her home area to preach but constantly prayed quietly in her convent for the spread of the gospel. To be missionaries we don’t have to be active at the front line. We can give spiritual and financial support.
Many thanks to all our families and staff who have given this financial support by subscribing to the 'Africa', the magazine of St. Patrick's Missionary Society. This year we have twenty subscribers.
This magazine has inspired young people to become missionaries and brought support for countless mission enterprises. It keeps readers informed of the changing challenge facing the missionary.
All subscribers are included in the daily masses and prayers of the Kiltegan Fathers in Co.Wicklow.
