Many thanks to all who turned out for our recent Friends of St. John’s meeting. I am delighted to announce that a committee has been set up and the group are already busy at work, organising a Christmas Fun Night for the children which will take place on Thursday 20th December. The children are invited to come along in festive dress for a disco and the chance to visit Santa and get a present. Admission is £3 per child. Adults are invited along also to catch up over a cuppa and a mince pie/shortbread. A raffle will take place on the night for some amazing prizes including 3 Christmas Hampers & 2 £50 vouchers to name but a few.
The evening will take place in two halves. The younger children (P.1-3 along with younger siblings) are invited from 6.30pm to 7.30pm and the older children (P.4 to P.7) are invited along from 7.30pm to 9.00pm.
