P4/5 Have a Visit from The Dairy Council for Shared Education Topic
Monday morning started with food and fitness in St. John's!
P4/5 pupils from Seagoe PS joined us to work together on the topic of Healthy Eating and Healthy Lifestyle.
Everyone really enjoyed learning about the main food groups and about getting the balance right between food and fitness.
We learned a fun rap to help us remember this important message and we participated in a workout session.
After a healthy break we worked on exploring food dairies and we sorted a range of different foods into the correct food groups.
We even made suggestions how to improve our diet and simple ways to increase our levels of exercise to reach the recommended 1 hour per day.
Many thanks to Melissa and Luke from the Dairy Council for visiting our school today and helping us to gain a better understanding of this topic.
