Banbridge Speech & Drama In-House Festival 2023

Huge congratulations to everyone that participated in the Banbridge Speech & Drama In-House Festival that was held today in our school. 

We were so proud of everyone that stood up and delivered their poem so clearly and confidently. It was definitely not an easy task to adjudicate!

A massive well done to all the prizewinners, you were all fantastic! A special word of mention to Sarah-Patrice in P.5 who came out on top as the overall winning participant from today’s festival. Wow, well done Sarah-Patrice! Sarah-Patrice will now represent our school in the Battle of the Champions competition in the Belmont Hotel on Fri 24th. 

Many thanks go to Mrs Patricia Mulligan for adjudicating such a close competition, along with Mrs Helen Tranmer, Festival Secretary & Patricia’s husband Frank. It was lovely also to see such a great turn out of parents and grandparents. Thank you for coming along to show your support. We all had a delightful afternoon and we were thoroughly entertained throughout with the variety of poems.

Thanks also goes to Mrs Power for organising and to all the staff for helping the children prepare their poems. We look forward to having even more participants next year!
