"Cupan Tae" (Cup of tea in Gaelic)

P5/6 enjoyed an afternoon of tea tasting to complement their learning on the 'Journey of Tea'.

We brewed a selection of teas from vibrant fruit and herbals to strong black teas.

The children tasted each in their favourite cups and had to consider the different tastes, flavours, appearances and aromas before selecting a favourite.

The boys and girls put the age old debate of which tea is best; Irish or Yorkshire to bed.

Irish tea, a clear winner!
