Diabetes Awareness Week

On Friday 18th June, our whole school community dressed in blue to show our support for and raise awareness of Diabetes. Discussions took place in each class and stories and PowerPoints were shared which informed the children of this serious condition that can arise, where the blood glucose level is too high. Clare from P.7 was even on hand to answer, from first hand experience, the questions and queries about Diabetes from her peers.
