First Holy Communion 2025

A heartfelt congratulations to all our Primary 4 children who received the Sacrament of First Holy Communion today, Saturday 10th May 2025, in St. John’s Church, Gilford. The children showed great reverence and respect throughout the service and made their families, teachers, and the wider school and parish community incredibly proud. Well done, boys and girls – we hope you had a truly memorable and joyful day!

Sincere thanks to Fr. Loughran for leading such a beautiful and meaningful ceremony, and to all the staff who helped prepare the Church for this special occasion. A special word of thanks to Mr King for his dedication and careful preparation of the children. Thank you also to our School Choir and Miss Lennon for the wonderful singing, and to Ms Pat McAlinden for the lovely musical accompaniment.

We are also very grateful to the staff and parents who kindly served tea and treats back at school afterwards – your support is deeply appreciated.
