Light of Hope Carol Service 2025
We want to begin by expressing our sincere gratitude to everyone who made this year’s Carol Service such a special occasion. Tonight was a wonderful celebration of music, reflection, and community spirit, all shining under the theme of Light of Hope.
To our pupils – your singing and readings were truly uplifting. You reminded us of the joy and meaning of this season. To our dedicated staff, thank you for guiding and supporting our pupils so beautifully.
A special mention to Mrs Power, Miss Lennon, and Mrs Brennan – your hard work and talent shone through every note sung and played. We were delighted to welcome some extra musical magic this evening: Mrs Dolores McConville, it was lovely to see you again; Mr Neil Guy, our EA Music tutor – what a wonderful surprise to have you join us; and Cliona & Ava – thank you for sharing your talents with us.
Behind the scenes, thank you to Mr McParland, Mrs McCarthy, Mr King, and all staff who helped prepare readings, displays and ensure everything ran smoothly.
To our parents and families – your continued support means so much. Sharing this occasion with you makes it all the more special. And finally, a huge thank you to Noel for generously opening the hall at short notice on numerous occasions – we are truly grateful.
As we leave tonight, let us carry the message of hope into the days ahead. On behalf of everyone at St. John’s, we wish you a joyful Christmas and a happy, healthy New Year!
