Sports Day - Monday 15th June
Our annual Sports Day is taking place tomorrow - fingers crossed for dry weather! Parents are warmly invited to come along and cheer the pupils on. Please remember to park either in the Castleview car park or the GCC Hall car park.
Children may wear their own clothes and are encouraged to wear something in their house team colour. If not, a coloured sticker will be provided.
We aim to start at 9.30am, and school will finish early at 2.00pm for all pupils.
Please remember:
• Apply sunscreen before school
• Bring a water bottle
• No vest tops - shoulders must be covered to avoid sunburn
• Sun hats/caps are recommended
• Bring a raincoat if wet weather is forecast
• A hoodie/half-zip and track bottoms are advised for sitting between races
Children who have not yet paid for their sweetie mix-up should please bring £1 to pre-order from the P.7 class.
For adults, tea/coffee and a treat will be available for £2.
We would greatly appreciate any help from adults who can assist with serving refreshments between their child’s races.
After-School Activities
All after-school activities finish this week. There will be no after-school activities tomorrow (Monday 15th June) due to the 2.00pm finish following Sports Day. There will also be no Stage School on Wednesday, as the final session took place last week.
Therefore, after-school activities will take place on Tuesday and Thursday only.
Parish Cup
The Parish Cup matches have been rescheduled to Tuesday 16th June at 11.00am in Tullylish GAC.
We would be very grateful for offers of lifts to and from the field. Parents are very welcome to come along and support both our girls’ and boys’ teams.
Wee Critters
The P.3/4 class will be taking part in their final Shared Education workshop of the year on Thursday.
Payment of £4.50 is due via the EZPayments App. Many thanks to those who have already made this payment.
Term 3 Music Tuition
Payment for Term 3 music tuition is now due via the EZPayments App.
The cost is £35 per pupil receiving weekly music tuition, or £10 for pupils in receipt of free school meals.
If payment is not received by Friday 19th June, it will be automatically roll-called and applied to your account.
End-of-Year Fun Day
We will be holding a whole-school End-of-Year Fun Day on Friday 19th June.
Children may wear their P.E. uniform for the day. Please keep your fingers crossed for dry weather!
