Visit from Sustrans to launch our Active Travel Work

Today Mr Dave Wiggins from Sustrans visited St John's to give an assembly to pupils from P2 - P7 about the importance of Active Travel. He explained the five reasons why active travel is so important.

To keep us healthy and fit.
To protect our environment.
To save money.
To reduce traffic jams.
To have fun!

This year in St. John's we are working towards obtaining our Bronze Award for Active Travel from Sustrans as part of our ongoing Eco Schools' work. We would be delighted to see as many pupils and parents participating in this venture as possible.
