Catholic Schools' Week
As part of our whole school celebrations for Catholic Schools’ Week this year we were asked to engage in a week of celebration and reflection.
Staff and pupils took part in a range of events and activities throughout the week. The theme for this year was ‘Catholic Schools: Celebrating the Work of Our Local Catholic Schools’.
Our celebrations began with a whole school assembly on Monday 28th January. On Tuesday all pupils and staff joined with parishioners for Mass in St. John's Church, our thanks to Canon Powell for making this Mass very special. Mrs Lyness, Mr King and a number of Primary Seven pupils travelled to St. Thérèse’s Church, Banbridge on Wednesday to take part in a very special Mass con-celebrated by Bishop Boyce. We were delighted to join in this special event as a way of marking Catholic Schools' Week 2019 and celebrating with other primary schools in our Diocese.
