Earth Day P3/4

Our class celebrated Earth day today, and the children took part in a range of activities and wore Earth colours to school. We planted Velvet Queen and Lemon Queen sunflowers and can’t wait to watch them grow!
We also had a visit from the USPCA who taught us all about how they protect animals by re-homing them. We learnt about hedgehogs, foxes and owls, and listened to stories about how the USPCA rescue animals in need.
