Edina Trust Bulb Project

P.6/7 have thoroughly enjoyed participating in the Spring Bulb Schools Investigation, a collaborative project with The Edina Trust. In early October 2024, the children planted daffodil and crocus bulbs and recorded daily rainfall and temperature data. At the end of each week, we uploaded our findings online, allowing us to compare our results with schools across Northern Ireland, England, Scotland, and Wales. This experience provided valuable insight into how weather conditions affect the growth of flowers. The children were delighted to be able to take home their flowers today!
Many thanks also to Chloe and Conor's grandad who donated five bags of compost, we are looking forward to using them for our next Eco project!
