Olivia in P.3 sent us a photo of her delicious lemon cake and this wonderful message.....she is missing school so much and hopes everyone is well. She wanted to show off her baking, which she found much easier after learning about measurements in her school work 😊 The lemon cake recipe 🰠was one that was shared on the school Facebook page.
A great big thank you to Lily in P.2 for sending us lots of photos of fun things her and her little sister Darcy have been getting up to. Not only have they been doing school work but they have also been going for walks, riding their bikes, setting up not one but two May Altar’s as well as doing lots of baking........don’t all their home made goodies look delicious!! 😋
How amazing is Noah in P.4’s lego batmobile!! A lot of time, patience and hard work has gone in to building it.......well done Noah, we hope you enjoy playing with it! ðŸ‘ðŸ‘
Many thanks to Jenson, Alex & Logan for sending some pictures of them out on their bikes. The boys cycled along the tow path the whole way to just before Newry. They couldn’t believe it when they met Miss McCarthy, who was out for a run! They had a few stops along the way for snacks and then an ice-cream stop in Poyntzpass on the way home. Altogether they cycled around 20 miles!!! Amazing boys, I’d say you’ll all sleep tonight 🚴ðŸ»â™‚ï¸ðŸš´ðŸ¼ðŸš´ðŸ»â™‚ï¸

How much fun does Phoenix and Wyatt’s science experiment look? They performed the experiment with mentos mints and coke........what an explosion it made!! Well done boys, thanks for sharing 🤗
Shona-Jean & Ethan had great fun exploring with Oobleck! A really fun material made by mixing cornstarch with water......if you put force on it, it acts like a solid but if you touch it gently, it acts as a liquid 👠Clever!!

A huge well done to Leah P.2 & Caitlin P.6 who have had fun painting stones with messages for the NHS and putting them around Gilford in places that people can see when they are out for their daily walk. These stones will hopefully make people smile ðŸ˜. How lovely and thoughtful 🥰 Well done girls!! 🌈
How dedicated is Conall in P.7 for practicing his flute at home even though his lessons are not on at this time......Keep it up Conall! 🎼

Charlie and Anna are enjoying their daily walk in the sunshine. Anna also loves picking radishes which she planted a few weeks ago along with lettuce and herbs. She would love to start a school garden too! 🥦🥕🥬 Great Anna, Mrs McConville will be delighted!!
