Huge congratulations to the first winners of our House Point competition for this school year. After a very close run race, Leinster won the grand prize!
The winning team got the privilege of a pie off competition between Mr King and Mr McParland!! There was lots of excitement and the whole school came together to watch. Mrs Lyness couldn’t resist the first throw; after that, all the children in Leinster got to have a go!
A special word of thanks to both teachers for being good sports and joining in. I don’t think either of them will want whipped cream on their apple crumble for a very long time to come!!!!
The focus of our House Point system is to reward positive behaviour and attitudes both inside and outside of the classroom.
Well done to everyone! It was a very close race having only 5 points between first and second place.
