Motus Mental Health Workshop

21st May 2024
Primary 6/7 took part in a full day workshop, learning all about the importance of looking after their mental health.

Throughout the day we looked at the six univeral emotions and how to express these feelings and emotions in the correct manner. We were able to understand that emotions can be positive and negative and happen because of a situation. We learned lots of different tools to help us deal better with negative emotions. We also had the chance to chat about any fears or worries we have for moving on to Secondary School and we were able to come up with a range of strategies from our 'Emotional Toolbox' that will help us with these.

All the boys and girls took part fully in the workshop and recieved lots of important and relevant information for looking after their mental health. Many thanks to Sarah, from Motus Learning, for delivering a very informative and engaging workshop.
