Our School Values – Together We SHINE!
In a recent survey of the P.3–P.7 children at our school, pupils were asked to vote for the school values they felt best represented their experiences. A total of 84 children took part, and the top five values chosen were:
Safe (91.7%)
Happy (64.3%)
Enjoyable (54.8%)
Inclusive (53.6%)
Nurturing (38.1%)
These results show that pupils overwhelmingly feel safe, happy, and included within our school community. This is also in keeping with the findings of the same survey carried out with parents, carers, staff, governors, and members of the wider community.
This reflects a strong sense of belonging and wellbeing, suggesting that our school provides a positive and supportive environment where children feel valued and secure. The emphasis on enjoyable and nurturing highlights that children appreciate both the caring ethos of staff and the engaging, child-centred approach to learning.
We would also like to thank our parents and families for their continued support and for entrusting their children into our care. Together, we will continue to nurture a school environment where every child feels valued, supported, and inspired to reach their full potential.
