P1/2 Whole Class Assembly
Today, our P1/2 children proudly led our whole class assembly, celebrating all of the wonderful things they have learned and achieved throughout the year.
The children spoke confidently about their developing maths skills, impressing everyone with their ability to count in 2s, 5s and 10s. They also showcased their knowledge of different shapes, demonstrating just how much they have grown in their understanding of the world around them.
We heard about their fantastic progress in literacy, with the children sharing how they have learned to read words and write their own stories. It was wonderful to see their enthusiasm and pride in their learning.
As well as their academic achievements, the children reflected on how they have grown socially. They told us about the importance of sharing, taking turns and being kind to one another, highlighting the values that make our school such a positive and supportive place to learn.
We are incredibly proud of all that the P1/2 class has accomplished this year. A special word of thanks and congratulations goes to Mrs McClelland and Miss Teggart for the wonderful work they have done in preparing the children and supporting them every step of the way.
Well done, P1/2 – you were amazing!
