Learning About Weight in P3/4

P3/4 continued their learning on weight today by exploring a variety of everyday items.

Primary 3 worked hard to sort objects into categories of heavy, medium and light, using their observations and reasoning skills.

Primary 4 challenged themselves further by classifying items as less than ½ kg, about ½ kg, or more than ½ kg, and then ordering them from heaviest to lightest.

As a class, they also had a great discussion about how bigger items are not always the heaviest, helping to build a deeper understanding of weight and size.
