We are delighted to announce that all our P4 pupils will have the opportunity to engage in the Paired Reading Programme this term. Reading is an essential skill and this is a chance to spend quality time reading together with your child at home. The programme will begin on Monday 28th Feb and it will run for 6 weeks, concluding on Friday 8th April 2022.
Pupils will be allowed to bring home a book of their choice to read or they can also choose to read other books from home. Each pupil will be given a reading diary to be filled in each time they read and the diary will be brought into class weekly to chat about the books that have been read and to discuss how everyone is getting on and to offer support and recommendations if needed.
