P4/5 Assembly on Safer Internet Day
This morning pupils from P4/5 delivered an assembly on the theme of Safer Internet.
Safer Internet Day will be celebrated across the world tomorrow Tuesday 11th Feb.
This year the theme is ‘Making the Internet better for everyone’.
Everyone in St. John’s needs to share the following important message with family and friends
remember to stay SMART.
S= Stay safe, don’t give out personal information to others online.
M= Meet . Don’t arrange to meet up with people online.
A= Accept. Don’t accept requests or files from unknown sources.
R= Reliable. Are people who they say they are?
T= Tell. Remember to tell an adult if something or someone online causes you to feel worried, sad or uncomfortable.
Parents remember to chat regularly to your children about how to stay safe online and about what they are using the Internet for.
