P.6 Class Assembly
16th Jun 2026
Today, Primary 6, Mr McParland’s class, delivered a fantastic assembly on Extreme Earth. The children explored a range of natural disasters and extreme weather events, including volcanoes, hurricanes, wildfires, droughts and tsunamis.
The assembly was creatively presented in the style of a news broadcast, with Ronan and Ivy taking on the roles of lead news anchors. They confidently guided the audience through each segment and did an excellent job throughout.
Every child had an opportunity to speak and contribute, showcasing their knowledge, confidence and teamwork. Their hard work and preparation paid off with the high-quality performance they delivered.
To conclude the assembly, the class sang a wonderful rendition of Everybody wants to rule the world, which was enjoyed by everyone in attendance.
Well done to all of Primary 6 and Mr McParland for a highly informative, engaging and entertaining assembly.
