P.7 Leavers’ Service 2025

18th Jun 2025

Today, we bid a heartfelt and emotional farewell to our fantastic P.7 class of 2025 during their Leavers’ Service. It was a memorable occasion filled with pride, joy, laughter, and a few tears, as we reflected on the journey these pupils have made and celebrated all they have accomplished during their time at our school.

We are incredibly proud of each and every one of our P.7 pupils. They have grown into kind, resilient, and confident young people who have left a lasting impression on our school community. Whether through academic success, sporting achievements, musical talents, STEM projects, or simply their day-to-day attitude and friendship, every child contributed something special. We thank them all for the joy, enthusiasm, and character they brought to our school life.

A sincere thank you to Mr McParland, Miss McCarthy, and Mrs Lyness for their kind words during the service which reflected the deep respect and affection they have for the children, and the awards they presented were a testament to the pupils' many talents and efforts. A special word of thanks to Mrs Power for preparing the music with the children and to Miss Lennon for leading the children in song. A big thanks also to Mrs Lavery & Mrs McCavigan for taking the time to prepare the display boards so beautifully. We also thank all members of staff — teaching and support — who played a part in guiding, nurturing, and inspiring this class over the years.

A huge congratulations to our award winners. While not every child received an award, we know that every one of them would have been a worthy winner. Their hard work, progress, and positive spirit have not gone unnoticed.

Special congratulations to the following Award Winners:

  • Best Girl Athlete: Aize

  • Best Boy Athlete: Conn & Shay

  • STEM Award: Kian & Oliver

  • Music Award: Anna

  • Merit Award: Leo

  • Attendance Award: Leah

  • Endeavour Award: Frankie

  • Contribution to School Life: Lily

As our P.7s move on to the next chapter of their education, we send them off with our very best wishes. They leave with our love, support, and the proudest of memories. We know they will go on to achieve great things — and we hope they always remember their time with us fondly.
