Midnight Mayhem with Wee Critters!
19th Jun 2026
There was great excitement among our P3/4 pupils and our P3 friends from Seagoe PS as they eagerly awaited the arrival of Allan the Explorer from Wee Critters and his fascinating animal friends. As our final Shared Education visit of the year, this workshop provided a wonderful opportunity for pupils from both schools to come together to learn, explore and have fun.
We selected the theme Midnight Mayhem and were excited to discover which nocturnal creatures Allan would introduce us to!
Allan took us on a wild adventure and introduced us to an amazing range of animals. We met Craig the Cockroach No. 214, Charlotte the Tarantula, Trevor the Toad, Salazar the Snake, Maisie the Mouse, Huckleberry the Hedgehog and Pepper the Barn Owl.
Throughout the workshop, we learned lots of interesting facts about where the animals originated from, their nocturnal habits, what they eat and how they survive in their natural habitats. The pupils thoroughly enjoyed getting up close to the animals and asking Allan lots of questions.
A huge thank you to Allan for delivering such a fantastic and engaging workshop. The fun continued with a creative art activity, and everyone finished the day with a delicious ice lolly!
We would also like to thank our friends from Seagoe PS for joining us throughout the year. We have loved spending time together and look forward to seeing them again next year!
