The theme for Safer Internet Day 2021 is 'An internet we trust: exploring reliability in the online world'.
Our children are so precious to us and today as a school family and also within your own family at home we need to take time to discuss the important issue of online safety. This year the theme is trust. Talk to your children about who they can really trust. Can they always trust people they chat to online to be who they say they are? Would your children agree to meet someone they consider to be a friend they have met online? Please talk to your children about the importance of staying safe online, agree rules at home to help keep your children safe and remind them if they are worried about anything to talk to a trusted adult. Together we can continue to work to educate our children to stay safe online.
