Congratulations to everyone who participated in the Banbridge Speech & Drama In-House Festival, held at school on Thursday, 21st November! We are so proud of all the children who delivered their poems with remarkable clarity and confidence—a truly outstanding accomplishment. Judging was no easy task! A big well done to all our prize winners—you were fantastic! A special mention to Elliot from P5, who was named the overall winner of the festival. Congratulations, Elliot! He will now represent our school in the prestigious Battle of the Champions at the Belmont Hotel on Friday, 29th November. We extend our sincere gratitude to Mrs. Patricia Mulligan for her thoughtful adjudication, supported by Mrs. Helen Tranmer. It was also heartwarming to see so many parents and grandparents in the audience—thank you for your encouragement and support. A special thank-you goes to Mrs. Power for organizing this wonderful event and to all the staff who worked tirelessly to help the children prepare their poems. It was a fantastic afternoon and we can’t wait to see even more participants join us next year!
