STEM Workshops in St John's

 On Wednesday 29th January pupils from Mrs Grimley's class had an opportunity to take part in a STEM workshop with Mr Kevin Mc Clorey from Sentinus. They had an exciting morning learning how to be engineers and designers making cars and after break they had to design and make a marble run. Lots of problem solving and decision making skills were needed.

After lunch it was the turn of pupils from Miss Mc Carthy's class. They made cars with electric motors and they also learned about solar panels, the solar system and water filtration using natural resources. 

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Kevin for delivering these workshops and for encouraging our pupils to try Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematical based activities.
