The Dogs Trust Visit P.1 & P.2/3

Today, we welcomed Julie from the Dogs Trust to our P.1 & P.2/3 classes. We learned about the Be Safe, Be Kind rules for dogs:

  1. If a dog is sleeping, you should leave them alone.
  2. If a dog is eating, you should leave them alone.
  3. Some dogs don’t like loud noises, you should stay calm and quiet around them.
  4. You must always ask the owner if you want to stroke their dog. Let the dog have a sniff first before you stroke them.
