World Book Day

Everyone celebrated World Book Day in St. John's.
P1 & P2 dressed up as their favourite character and they enjoyed sharing books together.
P3- P7 celebrated by participating in a range of activities including- creating their very own book cover of their favourite books, taking part in the BBC Live Lesson for World Book Day and some created their own blurbs to celebrate their love of reading.

And finally, the children thoroughly enjoyed sharing stories with each other in our paired reading activity. Everyone got the chance to read a story with a child from another class. Well done to everyone today.
