World Book Day

We are excited to celebrate the return of World Book Day on Thursday, March 6th! Over the past 27 years, World Book Day has become Ireland’s largest annual event dedicated to promoting the joy of books and reading. Its primary goal is to inspire children to discover the pleasure of reading by giving them the opportunity to own a book.

We encourage all pupils to dress up as their favourite book character. We will provide each pupil with a £1 book token, which can be used to purchase one of the many special World Book Day titles or contribute towards the cost of a book.
